Focusing in alternative and renewable energy since 2006, ProSpectro was formed when three sole proprietor firms, Power-EE (placing power electrical and electronic engineers), source-ASIC (placing semiconductor physical and logical design engineers), and NanoTechRecruiter (placing nanotechnology tools candidates), merged to pool their experience toward the emerging alternative and renewable energy disciplines.  Prior to these career fields, the principals in these firms were Information Technology recruiters during the Internet and dotcom era of the 1990s.
